Congress Venue and Date

The congress will be held on October 15 - 18, 2014 at Bodrum Hilton Turkbuku Resort and Spa Convention Center, Bodrum, Turkey.

Language

Official language is Turkish. Turkish - English - Turkish simultaneous translation will be provided.

Invitation Letter

An invitation letter for the congress will be sent to the participants in need of permission from their organizations upon their demands. Please note that this letter does not cover congress registration, hotel reservation and travel expenses.

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate of attendance will be provided from the registration desk on the final day of the congress for all registered delegates.

Transplantation Proceedings

Abstracts approved by the Scientific Committee of the Transplantation 2014 Congress will be published at the "Transplantation Proceedings” depending upon the request of the abstract owner in accordance with the conditions mentioned in "Transplantation Proceedings Guideline” and providing the cost will be covered by the abstract owner.

For this reason the abstracts will be submitted have to be prepared as full text in accordance with the writing rules mentioned in "Transplantation Proceedings” and the further applications will be accepted at the "Transplantation Proceedings” desk which will be open during the congress. "The best Oral” and "The best Poster” abstracts which will be selected by the award jury will be published by TTCCA.

Time Zone

Time is two hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+2) in Turkey. 

Passport & Visa Information

All foreign visitors entering Turkey are requested to have a valid passport. Please note that citizens of many countries in the world do not need visa while travelling to Turkey or it is possible to obtain e visa via https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/  It is strongly advised to check from a Turkish consulate in your country to determine if you need a visa before your departure to Turkey. Currency Exchange and Credit Cards

The currency is the Turkish Lira (TL). Currency exchange is available either at local banks or private foreign exchange offices. Visa and Master Card are widely accepted at hotels, stores, shops and restaurants. American Express Cards and traveler´s cheques are rarely accepted.

Electrical Appliances

The electrical supply is 220 volts, 50Hz. The connection for appliances is European plug (2 pin plug). Visitors who have flat 3-pin or other plugs, are advised to bring an appropriate adaptor or check availability with their hotel in advance. 

VAT

Value-added tax is nearly always included in quoted prices. Certain shops are authorized to refund the tax free. 

Driving License

Most international driver's licenses are recognized in Turkey. Car rental companies require a valid national or international license. Remember to keep to the right-hand side of the road and fasten your seat belt at all times.

Work Hours and Holidays

Banks are open weekdays from 9:00 am until noon and from 1:30 pm until 5.00 pm. Museums are generally open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 am until 5.00 pm or 5:30 pm and closed on Mondays. Shops and bazaars are normally open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am to 7.00 pm, and closed all day on Sunday. But most stores in shopping malls and crowded streets are open seven days a week, including lunch breaks. You can find restaurants or cafes open virtually at any time of the day or night.
